This one got me thinking.

Y’all remember that memorable moment in prisoner of Azkaban when that one portrait snapped at Snape and told him to turn off his wand light? And he actually did it?

I always found that hilarious because there was not a single other light in the corridors. Like, just to oblige that old painting, he walks around in a castle full of dangerous booby traps and it’s pitch black. He might walk straight into the nearest suit of armor or tumble down a giant staircase.

But now I kinda imagine him doing the bat thing and scream at the walls to find his way back to his quarters or locate stray students.

My Humor is very broken.

Bat Snape: The aftermath

So would you like to read more about Bat Snape? Well of course you wouldn't but heres some more reading on Bat Snape! 

Snape thought he has problems before. But nothing could compare to how his life was going to play out now. Snape starred at his reflection for hours. He had a human head and a bat body. He was larger than a normal bat, but not human sized. He stayed in that room until nightfall. Where he embarrassingly flew to the infirmary. It took him longer than expected; he had no thumbs. Doors were hard. Madam Pomfrey didn’t know what to do. She wondered if all of the students were going to be transforming into different animals. She called for Minerva, for Madam Pomfrey can only do so much with spells. Minerva was shocked. Severus never did well in class; she was amazed he had even made it this far. She tried a multitude of spells but nothing worked. Severus was sent off to St. Mungos; hoping someone there could help. But they couldn’t. Severus would have to stay a bat forever. He was given a counselor, to help him through this time. But he ignored him. Everything he said he ignored. I’ve been excluded my whole life he thought, why would they pay any attention to me now. Poor young Severus didn’t know that his life was going to spiral downhill. Poor young naïve Bat Snape.

Bat Snape: The Beginning

SO. During final week me and two other lovely people became obsessed with this idea of Bat Snape. Severus Snape as a bat. We came up with a slight history and the amazing Bat Snape was born. I then decided that I needed to write down all my ideas about Bat Snape. The detailed history and how being a Bat Snape shaped his life. So this is the beginning of Bat Snape. I hope you enjoy this crazy thing that was a result of a late night finals week stressful time.
