Bruce and Selina get engaged, and when the topic of wedding planning comes up, it turns out that Bruce, being Bruce, already has a Wedding Binder prepared. Selina's not even surprised. And this thing is extensive, covers everything except the outfits, and contains multiple contingencies for various Things That Could Go Wrong

("You really think our wedding might be attacked by an army of radioactive zombie kangaroos?" "If that does happen, you'll thank me")

The part that Selina is the most lovingly annoyed by is that she likes every part of the binder. The cake is exactly the kind she would have gone with, the venue is a subtle and romantic reference to several key moments in their relationship, and the seating plan Bruce came up with ("designed to minimise the probability of a fight breaking out between the guests") is frankly a work of genius

Hey Em! Quick question, what happened with Selina and Bruce's wedding? I think I remember it didn't happened, but why? 🤔

Heya! Bane was trying to take over the city and he had Joker and Holly (Selina's friend) plant the idea in Selina's head that Bruce couldn't be an effective Batman if he was happily married.

So, basically:

Bruce + happiness = a Batman that doesn't work

Bruce + misery = a good Batman

Yes, it's exactly as stupid as it sounds!

So anyways, Selina thought about it, and right before the ceremony, she wrote Bruce some bullshit letter that was like, "If we're happy then I kill that engine. I kill Batman. I kill the person who saves everyone." And she ended up leaving Bruce at the altar which caused Bruce to spiral into depression.

The whole thing was really stupid and waste of everyone's time.
