When I was dating my wife, I had to learn to never question her judgement. I had to learn many things about my wife the hard way. One major issue when I moved in with her was the toilet seat. I also had to learn how to clean up the bathroom after I used it too.

I did learn on our first date that she was smarter than me.

Went to a bar and needed to use the bathroom. Not very familiar with the place and not wanting to get killed, I asked where the women's bathroom was, the lady pointed to a wall separated by a curtain just besides the counter... where right above was a camera

The man's bathroom was a normal room by the way

Was able to powder self with assistance!! to prevent pad+underwear rash cause of wiping issues.

Usually mom powders me in these instances while I lay down. but I could this time while sitting on toilet, with step by step instructions visual and verbal(from her) :-)

Let's hear it for people with IBS, with an inflammatory bowel disease, with immune reactions that attack the intestinal tract.

It sucks to have to be aware of your digestive organs all of the time, especially when we're encouraged to ignore them and anything to do with pooping.

You're existing is okay. You don't need to apologize for what your body is doing, especially while it's hurting you. It's hard and you don't deserve to manage this, but you do deserve good things, meaningful care, and doctors who treat you with respect. You deserve to take the extra time in the bathroom without judgement, and may your feet not go numb.

When you have a vasovagal response, do you get cold sweats, start panting, start loosing vision in anyway (sort of narrowing for me I think, like my peripheral gets kinda staticky), hands and feet start feeling numb/going to sleep, and thumb like, sort of being like totally straight while tucked against the palm and the rest of the fingers kind of straight out also? And you can’t move your thumbs/fingers because you’ve lost feeling there? Idk I’m pretty out of it when I get to that point and by the time I’m able to focus on anything my hands are functional again

But yeah sometimes when I go to the bathroom it gets That Bad and I’m pretty sure that’s the vasovagal thing but I figured I’d ask if anyone else experiences this, so like. Boost this please, I want reassurance that this isn’t a serious thing

I'm at work. Right now, as I type this. I just witnessed two female presenting people entice a male presenting person into the women's bathroom, laughing and saying "come on, like anyone's gonna assume your gender." Ultimately, he saw my uniform and refrained from going in.

You're predominantly the reason we get this argument against us with the whole bathroom bullshit. It's not a fucking game.

I've personally stuffed myself back in the closet and have been using the wrong bathroom for the last year+, out of total fear.

My pain is not a joke. It's not an excuse to entice your boyfriend or whatever to fuck around with you in the bathroom.

My trans brothers, sisters, and enbys are not a fucking joke. Stop it.

I know that it's gonna take a while, but including 3 bathrooms (male, Female, and gender free) or just 1 (gender free) in a building is something almost all new buildings, especially schools and offices.

I fully understand that adding them to pre-existing buildings is a no go (you can't just add a room to somewhere, like, there's no space) and that's okay! It's just important to start having either 3 in new buildings, and maybe in the future change 2 bathrooms into 1.
