I just learned that The Batman Part 2 is getting delayed, which I'm not mad about, except I'm terrified it could mean there's a slightly higher chance there will be another actor playing the DCU Batman.

I hope to god the delay doesn't have any correlation to Robert Pattinson potentially being in the DCU. I've seen the fancasts and every single one is inferior in my opinion. 😭 I've already made a few posts about why The Batman belongs in the DCU, and with the delay... ugh. I was using its release window with Man of Tomorrow as one production example for why the merge is potentially happening. Again, I have posts breaking all that down. I'm pretty sure one of them is my second post ever.

James Gunn just needs to tell us what's happening with Batman because I am so tired of discovering more and more parallels and contrasts between The Batman and Superman 2025, and then remembering there's a chance they'll never be in the same universe. It's so dumb. They're the literal definition of "two sides of the same coin." Just do it - the naysayers will see the vision. 😭
