drew this a few months ago but forgot to post it. been playing in some pickup games of lancer battlegroup, so of course i had to draw my commander. meet rhea willow (they/she), commander of the Union Battlegroup Invitation! her uniform is based off the captain's uniform from operation solstice rain. i also drew the battlegroup's emblem. composition of the group below the cut (ship art from the battlegroup rulebook):

New character for a lancer/battlegroup campaign my friend is running. Zhou Wei aka "Lucky Stars" is a pilot from a former pirate fleet that turned PMC due to becoming so large that the admin costs alone where enough to make piracy not fun anymore. Wei is crass, gutsy, loyal above all else, and has only heard vague whispers of OHAS.

Latvia hosts NATO's largest eastern flank battlegroup

Revised figures for the numbers of NATO troops to be stationed in member states on the alliance's eastern flank reveal that Latvia will have a larger contingent than any other country.

(..) Figures supplied by the NATO press office show that of eight multinational battlegroups in Bulgaria, Estonia, Hungary, Latvia, Lithuania, Poland, Romania and Slovakia, Latvia's is the largest with a strength of 1,887 troops, ahead of Lithuania's 1,632 and Estonia's 1,430(..)
