Battleguard!
Might be too early, but my goal for 2020 is to make Battleguard a reality: a He-Man inspired fantasy book staring these four barbarian Elves and maybe other heroes that are willing to wear that star mark.
Going from the top and clockwise:
Jango the Barbarian: The de-facto leader of the four, heavily charismatic and skilled with a sword-though he’s not against picking up anything that can be swung, from swords to hammers to axes to clubs. May or may not have some kind of rare magic power tied to his silver eye.
Wayne the Outlander: The dashing rogue, the daring thief, and usually put on archery duty. Wayne is the most agile of the group; a capable acrobat and lockpick. Tends to prefer arrows, but when in close, he’s also handy with a knife.
Jasper the Wildman: Very battle hungry and is peerless in unarmed combat. Punches, grapples, and strong kicks-he knows how to fight almost anything that walks the Earth. Also the best at taming animals. The ‘kid’ of the group socially since he’s rather naive and gullible.
Henry the Wizard: He didn’t choose the life of a Barbarian, he fell into it. Is a powerful Wizard with a wide variety of spells under his belt. The smartest, but also the most quiet and is rather standoffish. While technically the physically weakest, can still crush skulls with the rest of ‘em. He just prefers fireballs to fists.
