I don’t know what questions they ask these caricatures of human beings to get them to produce this kind of bullshit, but I’m half convinced they just tell them they have 5 minutes with no guidelines and this is how they freestyle.

The Apprentice - some thoughts

Week 5

- Holy fuck!!! The task is books - the brief was delivered in a library!!! For the first time EVER the location was relevant. I’ve seen it all. - How is Sam still in this process? He’s like a camp twig. - Charleine has put herself forward for project manager every single week. That bitch will not take a hint. - Joseph’s idea for a book ‘it’s about a guy called Joseph who’s the best and has a brilliant moustache and all women he meets want a go on him but he’s too busy being excellent at business and he has a best friend called Claude and they have business adventures together *locks eyes with claude* and they hold hands the whole time.’ - “I’m used to being on the important team…” *the audible sound of baby batface’s tiny heart breaking* - Is Mergim even a person? How can anyone with a human face and brain and mouth be so bad at saying words? - That tiara is not helping distract from faux-Nigella’s bulbous features. - Thirteen minutes in and I think we need to just call it off. Pop Sam in a cab and stop wasting my time. [I’m aware I may regret calling it so early] - April’s accent. Where are you from, girl? - Baby batface is giggling like he’s been allowed to stay up after his bath and watch a bit of telly with his parents. - Karen Brady pulling a perfect Partridge “I sometimes find it difficult to understand the Brummy… people.” - “Make it sound like the wind is saying it” surprisingly poetic. For a total dunce. - The words ’quell’ ‘ado’ and ’rife’ are certainly fruity but it’s not like it’s Chaucer! Those parents need to up their fucking game! - Urgh! I fucking hate Joseph. He’s looks like a combo of a Dolmio puppet and an unlicensed mini cab driver. - I may have spoken too soon - Charleine is a disgrace. - Joseph ‘doesn’t like hearing the word ‘no’ in anything in life’. They should put that scumbag’s face on the packaging for rape alarms. - Charleine’s book looks like a fucking pile of garbage. - Sam is a moist towelette. - Can someone let Piers Morgan know that shots have been fired? - Natalie’s head could not be any more spherical if it tried. - Charleine basically made Richard (the div kid) the milk monitor (a la Gareth Keenan). - If I did a good job and someone fobbed me off with a magician as a ‘treat’ I’d be fucking livid. - Getting rinsed by Sugar about not being able to choose who to bring back into the boardroom has got to be a low point. - You’ve got to admire the acumen of a man that uses phrases like ‘I shit you not’ and ‘she had her arse in her hands’ in front of a prospective business partner and their chief advisors.

Lord Sugar; I'd like to put him in my tea. So I can scald that smug face off.

I hate Sugar so much after that last apprentice. At no point did he specify it had to be a 3D skeleton. He certainly didn’t say it should be a real human skeleton, and if that’s what he meant then the other team should have had a fine as well because there’s was just a plastic replica. He didn’t even give them the usual fine, he just picked a number off the top of his head to make sure they lost. He’s just a bitter, petty old man who can’t accept the fact that someone came up with a good idea that hadn’t crossed his stunted brain. The show would be so much better with a businessman the audience can actually respect, who rewards novel ideas and doesn’t act like such a dick all the time.
