Enjoy the zesty and tangy flavors of Carolina barbecue with this homemade sauce. Perfect for glazing grilled meats and adding a bold kick to your BBQ dishes.
Ingredients: 1 cup ketchup. 1/2 cup apple cider vinegar. 1/4 cup yellow mustard. 1/4 cup brown sugar. 2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce. 1 tablespoon hot sauce. 1 teaspoon smoked paprika. 1 teaspoon garlic powder. 1 teaspoon onion powder. Salt and black pepper to taste.
Instructions: In a saucepan, combine ketchup, apple cider vinegar, yellow mustard, and brown sugar over medium heat. Stir in Worcestershire sauce, hot sauce, smoked paprika, garlic powder, and onion powder. Bring the mixture to a simmer, then reduce heat to low. Season with salt and black pepper to taste. Simmer for 15-20 minutes, stirring occasionally. Remove from heat and let the sauce cool to room temperature before using.

A simple and flavorful grilled summer squash recipe that brings out the natural sweetness of the vegetables with a hint of garlic and oregano. Perfect for a light and delicious barbecue side dish.
Ingredients: 4 medium-sized summer squash, sliced. 2 tablespoons olive oil. 1 teaspoon garlic powder. 1 teaspoon onion powder. 1 teaspoon dried oregano. Salt and pepper to taste. Fresh lemon wedges for serving.
Instructions: Preheat the grill to medium-high heat. In a large bowl, toss the sliced summer squash with olive oil, garlic powder, onion powder, dried oregano, salt, and pepper until evenly coated. Thread the squash slices onto skewers, creating a colorful pattern. Place the skewers on the preheated grill and cook for 8-10 minutes, turning occasionally, until the squash is tender and has a nice grill marks. Remove the skewers from the grill and transfer the grilled squash to a serving platter. Squeeze fresh lemon juice over the grilled squash just before serving.
