As soon as I saw Brilliant Dynamintes Neon in Trigun '98, he had my attention, because I do always love a dramatic and strange guy <3 His outfit and the things he says were so reminiscent of what I perceive to be the vibe of JJBA, so I had to steal the art style to draw him!

I had a lot of fun with this! It was nice to try out an art style that isn't in my typical repertoire and I'm really pleased with how this came out! Huge thanks to @lovablehyena for the feedback on this one :3 The lineart WIPs for this one are on my ko-fi page so do check that out.

the wife and i just had a convo speculating about which christian religious sect each trigun character would be we concluded:

Wolfwood: Catholic (obv) Vash: Obscure 3rd Century heretical sect that ignores the Nicene Creed. Milly: LDS (just look at the number of siblings she has, bro.) Meryl: Culturally christian, but otherwise agnostic. Midvalley: Southern Baptist. BDN: Strange crystal (more likely neon gas) worshipper. Legato: Pagan, but only for Knives. Knives: Specifically Calvinist (something something "my killing humans is justified because I predetermined that they were going to die; I'm doing God's work here.")
