That being able to throw around 300 - 400+ lbs gym guy as ilya (complete with beefiness). Him and Shane are once more in a competition. Shane to get bigger than what Ilya can lift and Ilya pushing to keep up with Shane (also doesn’t hurt that the more he can lift it means the bigger Shane is going to get to outdo him).
Yesssssss this is fun I like this. I wonder which is happening faster, Ilya being able to lift more or Shane putting on more weight? Which one of them is gonna outpace the other? I actually got another ask about something like this too y’all love a “Shane gets too heavy for Ilya to pick him up” and I’m here for this enthusiasm

I can’t stop thinking about AUs where Shane goes to the cottage (maybe has had a career ending injury, maybe is planning his suicide) and Ilya was a hockey player who disappeared a couple years before Shane joined the league and everyone thinks he OD’d and drowned in the ocean or fell off a cliff, but actually he had gone to the same area Shane’s cottage is in in order to kill himself but got hit with a transmogrify curse and is now. Well in one version the bear tattoo is canon and he turns into a bear and there is some sorta beastiality a la The Bear by Marian Engel. In another version he turns into a merman a la The Pisces by Melissa Broder, the downside being that merman Ilya can speak (unlike my bear) the upside being that merman Ilya would be hot. In either version Shane finds Ilya’s old journals and thinks that he (Shane) is going insane, and they have really weird sex no matter what. Not really any conclusions about this I’m just musing and hoping I’ll actually get to finishing writing something
