Ok I know that once Callum loses the current beard he'll look younger but it cracks me up every time I watch the rayllum animatic and they look like an age gap couple. like he is literally younger than her but looks like he's old enough for Runaan to have put up a fight when Rayla decided to marry him.

He looks old enough that Runaan would've beat his ass when he found out Rayla was dating him. But alas, he's just a baby still. (not really - he's got his own baby)

I haven't been back to that solo duty for awhile so no I hadn't. I vaguely remember hearing claims to that effect.

I may go back in one of these days and see as I have some alts to unlock stuff there. But I'm not terribly worried about Cid's shifting memory version of Midas in the overall.

Is a little weird to change the model randomly though, if that's so.

I rarely shave my Harry (I love him either way) so I missed this in-game:

Hear me out. He tells Harry this if you shave:

We know Kim doesn’t like to see Harry suffer unnecessarily, and looking at his naked face just serves to remind them both of what Harry had endured -polio, addiction, etc.

This made me wonder what Kim sees shaving himself as - conforming to an image of a regular RCM officer, a simple hygienic necessity, a habit? Or a way to not hide behind additional layers like his glasses and stoicism?

How is it connected to his self-perception of a Vacholiere instead of Seolite?

so i mean it’s entirely possible that i’m wrong but i’d be really surprised if i was

these are all caps taken from 8x07 but the ones in purgatory and the ones in the motel room were of course filmed at different locations and therefore different times. since the motel scene ends with cas cleaned up and clean-shaven, that means misha had to be clean-shaven. but the beginning of the scene he needs a beard- i’m assuming they actually filmed all the normal-looking cas scenes for the episode first and then dirtyed him up to film this first scene last (since it’s short and needs specialized costume/hair/makeup) but he’s already shaved, ergo fake beard.

vs here’s (what i think is) the fake beard. it’s the wrong color, slightly different grow pattern than misha’s natural beard (mostly under the mouth), note the suuuper clean line of the top of the mustache (the mustache is just generally too clean but also the way the longer hairs are growing out over the lip is unnatural too), and last but not least you can just see the spirit gum on the cheeks and chin crinkling the skin
