i have watched the lation american dub of shin godzilla interestingly godzilla is refer to by both male and female pronouns "dios" which is the male pronoun for god in spanish when they talk about the origin of his name and the defence force and other characters refer to godzilla sometimes as "ella" which means she in spainsh

Ichikawa-san truly is an amazing auther i think these past two chapters have both made me reread earlier chapters and even small lines gain more weight becuase of them yet my biggest take away was the fact that she had a dream were her turnips were 838 bells bless her

Hi i was wondering were Euclase/Lapis ship came from? its been awhile since i read the manga but i don't recall there being anything about them? its a neat ship but were did the spark come from?
nope, they never interacted in canon (but if you take pre-canon into account then yeah, they definitely knew each other).
the ship is 50% wishful thinking and 50% reconstructing both Lapis and Euc’s personalities from, well, this single panel basically

ya know i remember the last thing baby Phos said to shinsha was "next time i'll be the one to save you" after loosing their legs what if in their final battle just as phos is about to crush shinsha the last remenant of baby phos stops them before they crush shinsha...
ah yes the romanticized route... i know ichikawa will prob not do this but i want to see the traces of baby phos resurface :-( !!!
Hi i'm relativly new to the HNK fandom (watched the anime over a year ago) and reccently came across your blog searching for houseki content (great blog btw) now on this hiatus for the new chapter i've been thinking about the ending of houseki when ever that might be so i read Ichikawa's other works to grasp her style Buddism is present in most of her stories and they tend to end bitter sweetly i think by the end no matter what it will end in phos's demise yet being reborn as a human. thoughts?
hi, welcome to the club of trying to crack the hnk code. I agree that the story might end with phos’ death, which could actually be framed as a liberation of sorts.
as for the human part, phos is already ‘human,’ at least from a conceptual point of view and according to aechmea. it makes little sense for them to be literally reborn as a human being since that race went extinct, maybe they could be reborn as themselves?
Since you said you were interested in NieR i should let you know the first NieR game is getting a remake on modern consoles and PC i think so you can start there when its released!
