Well, he’s his brother, so, XD. Samandriel is happy for his brother. He’s glad that he’s been able to find lovers he can trust and who he’s happy with and who’ll be there for him. He had his doubts about Crowley, for obvious reasons, but, especially after Puck, he’s just grateful that his brother has someone who will be there for him and actually be a good lover.

Samandriel loves Castiel. He has many, many, siblings, but Castiel is his brother the way human siblings view it. They were created to sing together. Samandriel is capable of mustering enormous amounts of strength to help his brother and that once allowed him to storm Heaven to help rescue him. Samandriel will always have faith in his brother and he’s proud of him. He believes, that ‘despite his mistakes, Castiel’s heart [is] always in the right place.’ Sometimes when he does things, the only explanation I get from him is, because brother.

I guess the closest thing to an angsty opinion about Castiel would be that Samandriel worries about the time when Castiel was afraid that he’d break him.

Well, driving was a very happy memory. They also have a lot of happy memories together of singing before the war. And the sung together when Castiel didn’t have his memories, which was really beautiful. A lot of their memories together are, unfortunately, a little bittersweet, because of the war, and because of the brothers being taken from each other.

Samandriel admires that his brother has gotten through so much and come out on top. He admires that he’s managed to rebuild after he’s been broken down so many times by so many people. He’s proud of his brother.

Again, he doesn’t really keep things from his brother. But I guess, his skills as a soldier? Samandriel was turned away from being a soldier, and as much as he knows it was for the better, and as much as he’s glad he wasn’t a soldier, his brother’s abilities as a tactician are impressive.

Well, still brothers, so. But Samandriel really enjoys that he and his brother are able to discuss important matters involving their sex lives together and share questions and help each other out with their confusions as they navigate their respective relationships.
