I was mentioning Gabe’s alliteration when singing, like in I’m Alive with “I am flame and I am fire” and “I’m destruction, decay, and desire”
I made a joke that the reason he was obsessed with using alliteration is because he’s learning the alphabet, but like…yeah?
he was 8 months when he died, MOST babies dont say their first word until 12-18 months. Parents try to get their babies to speak and teach them the alphabet, right? And what’s one way to do that? They repeat letters to help babies retain it. It makes sense, D and F are pretty early in the alphabet as well, maybe he only got so far before dying?
Gabe also talks in very simple sentences! And what’s the easiest way to make sentences? Describing something, like yourself. Which makes sense because he wasn’t old enough to do anything otherwise.
And that also means he never got to verbalize how he was feeling when he WAS alive, he just cried, and cried, and cried. And all babies do. They mention this in the musical, no one figured out what Gabe had because they believed he was just fussy or being a baby!
