Somebody stop me- I am two seconds away from writing a whole journal about another fictional species. I want to know how these things live and I am unfortunately very familiar with the process of making fictional species. I made a whole slew that I still haven't quite finished, but most of them are done and the only one I haven't completed is the freaking sentient water. If I actually sat down and focused on it for a couple minutes, I could probably be done with it-

Getting off topic!! Anyway, the only thing that's really stopping me right now is that I don't have my computer. And that it's past midnight and I should very much get to sleep rather than staying up and typing things.

If the information isn’t spoilers could you tell us some more about Emeric & his father/family?

Okay so I can't really say anything about the father because 1) major spoilers and 2) the plan is you'll learn more about him in the next chapter, but I can say something about the rest of them.

When mc and Emeric meet, all his siblings have long since moved out of the house and are on their way to their own careers. He is essentially living alone with his father, mother, and however many servants are in the house. All that being said, he's very lonely, and only really has his bodyguards for company, which, clearly isn't good company if we're working off what happened in the demo.

His mother is very sickly and tends not to make public appearances, but if she did she'd probably command a similar fear in people that her husband does. She married him initially for power, however, they did actually end up falling for one another, once upon a time. Eventually she does get her health back under control but quickly after she is essentially put under house arrest with the rest of her children for.... spoilery shenanigans. Not necessarily in the same house but some do end up living together. The youngest Emeric does not.

Lord Emeric is dead in the current timeline. Why and how? You'll find out sooner or later. Ultimately the siblings are unimportant, but Emeric and his mother might make appearances for one reason or another. Currently, and this may give me away entirely, Emeric is shacked up with one of the ROs.
