Lemon Zone Tip Of The Day.
🌙 How to Make Bedtime a Bit Easier!
🌑 Use a nightlight! You can even buy ones that double as clocks so it isn’t obvious, or use glow in the dark stars if possible!
🌑 Make sure you have your favourite comfort item with you, a blanket, a stuffie, a particular clothing item. The comforting feeling will chase away any nightmares!
🌑 You can make up a “anti-monster spray”, or alternatively a “safe spray”! Decorate a spray bottle with a label and some chosen stickers; fill it with water and then add some essential oils. Our personal favourite is lavender/sleep based ones. The spray will scare away any monsters in your room!
🌑 Play some music as you go to sleep! Either some quiet nursery rhymes, or some of your favourite songs! Alternatively, you can put on a quiet, chill movie to play in the background to fall asleep to! Sometimes the background noise makes it easier to sleep. There’s even podcasts or audiobooks!
🌑 Have a warm drink a little bit before you sleep! Angel milk, lavender milk, cinnamon & vanilla milk, hot chocolate etc are all yummy drinks to make you sleepy! Or if you can’t have any lactose, there are nice tea blends out there that can help with sleep, such as Chamomile tea or herbal tea!
🌑 A reward chart can help you keep a semi-consistent routine for bedtime! Check off if you’ve done things such as brushing teeth, taking medicine, feeding your pets, going to sleep before a specific time, etc. You can use super cute stickers to make it fun!
5 Things To Do Before Bed Instead of Looking At Your Phone
A goodnight’s rest is essential to making sure you are prepared for the next day. Many times, the last things you hear or see can also be reflected in your dreams.
Instead of taking those last minutes learning the timeline, try these things:
READ A BOOK
WORK ON PUZZLE
TALK TO SOMEONE IN YOUR HOUSE OR CALL A LOVE ONE
WATCH A MOVIE
PRAY AND/OR MEDITATE
JOURNAL ABOUT YOUR DAYS
Tips for a good sleep:
⭐️Go to sleep and wake up at the same time every day/night
⭐️Turn off all technology at least half an hour before you go to bed
⭐️Use something lavender scented, a candle, a spray, air freshener. (It’s supposed to be good for anxiety and sleep issues, plus it smells really nice)
⭐️Make your bed look as cosy and inviting as possible
⭐️Try to find some peaceful background noises, unless you prefer silence. (I personally open my window a crack and put it on lock when I sleep)
⭐️Invest in some darkening curtains, so they block out all the light that comes from the outside
⭐️Or maybe try some sleeping tablets. But talk to your doctor first, make sure you know of any potential side effects
