What Keeps Your Relationship Strong?
“The main thing that keeps our relationship strong is our connection with Allah. We both strive to become stronger in faith as time progresses and this was the foundation that our relationship was built upon from the start. With strong faith, it makes it easier to maintain a tight bond. Additionally, we’re friends before anything and I think this is also super important in any relationship because it allows us to be open and comfortable with one another. We’re able to speak about literally any and everything, whether that’s me wanting to spill the latest gossip or him telling me about the crazy basketball games he plays in. We are far from perfect but we are devoted in our love.”

What Keeps Your Relationship Strong?
“Love, trust and communication is essential in any relationship. We understand that being honest is important, even when its uncomfortable, but it will help us in the long term. We don't take our problems to bed. We also love to have a great time with each other and are not shy when it comes to being silly with each other.”

What Keeps Your Relationship Strong?
“One of the main things that we believe keeps our relationship strong is our patience. We live in a world of instant gratification where the fruits are demanded without labor. Being goal oriented individuals we had to take our time and build our friendship before taking the leap into a full on relationship. This helped us learn each other's moods, likes, dislikes, and especially taught us how to successfully deal with the day to day obstacles we face. Being each other’s best friends we’ve learned to TRULY listen to understand one another and not listen to respond. We’ve learned to discuss rather than argue, and most importantly we learned to, the big c word, compromise. No relationship is perfect but we're perfect for each other. Like all humans we have our good days and bad days but we will always go to war together, protect each other and navigate any storm together with God by our side.”

What Keeps Your Relationship Strong?
“Friendship definitely makes our relationship strong. Before we were a couple we were best friends. That foundation is extremely important because it helps us better communicate and understand our intentions. We genuinely enjoy each other’s company and more importantly we always know where we stand moving forward.”

What Keeps Your Relationship Strong?
“We believe effective communication and friendship are the driving force to maintaining our relationship. Communication is very important to us. Throughout our time together, we’ve learned different ways to better understand & convey our thoughts and emotions. We make sure we always speak on our feelings and don’t end the night upset.
Since we started the relationship as friends, we are comfortable with one another, and get to be our true self. We get to explore the world, party and vibe with one another. It’s safe to say we enjoy each other’s company.”
