Since it is Cinco de Mayo...
I'm marinating my beef roast in garlic, vinegar, and olive oil for 7 hours, slow cooking it for 2 hours, and then cooking it even more, shredded in a skillet with chiles, onions, and cumin. AND THEN putting it into a tortilla and frying it. Debating if I want to do the frying part though. I don't have toothpicks to hold it together.
Anyway... Today will be a long day of food anticipation.
Do you ever get words or peoples' names stuck in your head?
Just now I got the name of Miss New York City stuck in my head (my cousin knows her so when I stalk his facebook sometimes, I see her name). I don't even know why.
This happens occasionally but the first time it happened it was with the name of my friend's family friend that I had met once before.
Also, this one time I had "beef flautas" stuck in my head for 2 days straight. I had never even eaten beef flautas before.
