Ingredients: 1 pound ground grass-fed/finished beef. 2 tablespoons olive oil. 2 cloves garlic, minced. 1 teaspoon ground cumin. 1 teaspoon ground coriander. 1 teaspoon smoked paprika. 1/2 teaspoon ground turmeric. 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon. 1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper. Salt to taste. Black pepper to taste. 1/4 cup chopped fresh parsley. 1/4 cup chopped fresh cilantro. Juice of 1 lemon.
Instructions: In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add minced garlic and saut until fragrant, about 1 minute. Add ground beef to the skillet, breaking it up with a spoon, and cook until browned and cooked through, about 5-7 minutes. Stir in ground cumin, ground coriander, smoked paprika, ground turmeric, ground cinnamon, cayenne pepper, salt, and black pepper. Cook for an additional 2-3 minutes, until spices are fragrant. Remove skillet from heat and stir in chopped parsley, chopped cilantro, and lemon juice. Serve the gluten-free ground grass-fed/finished beef shawarma in lettuce wraps, on a bed of quinoa, or with gluten-free flatbread. Enjoy!
