Reddish brown stag beetle! This pretty girl was found by my father.. who continued to spray it with spray glue. But after cleaning her off I finally got her pinned. Much easier than the moth.

Hellooooo. Definitely not a queen ant, althoug you’re not the  :)first person to mistake them. It’s an oil beetle in the genus Meloe. :)
