a quick search on @yelp guided me to @casualpintgrove last week. when we first walked in the first thing I noticed was the sweet smell in the air. I asked about it and was told it was beer cheese. so of course I had to try that. so i started with the soft pretzels and beer cheese. the cheese was hot and bubbly and the pretzels were really big (like breadsticks) and soft. the two together were so delicious! i decided on the wings next. i’m really picky with wings so I was hoping they were good. well, the flavor was good, I had the sriracha chili bourbon. it was sweet and spicy. but I was disappointed with how tiny they were. hopefully it was just this one batch. 🤷🏽‍♀️ Brittany ordered their flatbread, chicken basil pesto and had nothing but good things to say. Hi all! @malibukenny here, with the offering of June's #thegreatburgerchallenge. @amandarhode knows I sleep/eat/drink/love beers, so I really think she lets me off the hook this month. When I think #beers cooking, I automatically think #beerandbrats. So I bought two and half pounds of bratwurst, took the meat out of casing, mixed with finely crushed Graham Cracker "breading" and all-seasoning. Medium heat on skillet until barely pink in the middle. Then I sautéed Golden Onion strings, then add half cup of @prairieales Bomb! and 2 tbsp of molasses, and caramelized until beer sauce is reduced. Lastly, I hand cut two Russet potatoes, sun dried for a day until dehydrated, and then rehydrate them in @dogfishbeer #120minutesipa. Afterward, strained the liquid, mixed half cup of that IPA, add one egg, half cup masa flour, coat each potato fried well, and fried in medium-high heat until golden brown. Since I got some of that batter left, I mixed quarter-pound of string beans in there, and made some #greanbeanfries. P.S.
