Happy summer solstice everyone! I want to celebrate the beginning of summer by posting this picture of the most beautiful peonies that I have ever bought. I got them at the farmer’s market in Langeais, located in the Loire Valley in France about ten days ago. I think their burgundy, wine red, plum or whatever you want to call their color is absolutely gorgeous and the flowers were really humongous! I like to be honest these peonies weren’t cheap, but they brought me three days of bliss on our vacation in France and totally worth it. You have to spoil yourself from time to time, don’t you think?
