In a conversation with my girlfriend about Doing Things:
-
Like I'm like "I will feel worse if I keep not doing it, sure I ''cant" do it but I'll definitely can't do it if I keep up not doing it"
Executive dysfunction IS one of those things you need to persevere about.
Nuances in disability etc.
Because the more you punch it back the less it can effect you. Neuroplasticity or whatever.
Mental disorders can be worked through most of the time.
And if you habitually listen to executive dysfunction yeah it will indeed disable you more
And tbh, "just do it" is like, the opposite of what most adhders want to hear. Some even have trauma about it, and that only makes everything worse
When you make "do it immediately" a habit it doesn't hurt as much
But people like being helpless I guess
And I may sound like an ass about this. But that's literally what they teach you in therapy. Habit forming.
