Sometimes I think about the time I was a counselor at a Christian kids' camp when I was a teenager and one of the other counselors was this gorgeous girl with this thick curly hair and every night we sat next to each other and shared snacks and then we'd like... chase each other around in the most flirtatious way ever, but it legitimately took me until adulthood to clock that oh my god, that was gay as hell, and sometimes I wonder if she also had that realization and if she's queer too or if she shoved herself deep in the closet and never thinks about it at all.
