Is there a good way to tell my manager that I can’t come to the office tomorrow and will need to work from home because I have to wear a blood pressure monitor for the next 24 hours and don’t want to do that in the office, without giving too much information? I know it’s generally best practice to not give your boss more info than absolutely necessary, but since the expectation is that I go to the office on Wednesdays, I feel like I need to give some kind of reason. Plus I have a check-in meeting with her tomorrow so she’d probably see the cuff anyway……

No one is saying Seth shouldn't have a girlfriend, but dating one of his employees? That's not a good idea. Seth isn't just acting on the show, he's writing, he's directing, his company is paying her. What happens when she gets a raise and nobody else does? Or they break up and the show gets renewed and her scenes get reduced? Its not like dating on a movie set where the job ends after a few weeks, this could go on for years and affect the show negatively in the future if it doesn't end well.

If Seth is dating this girl I see him being nothing but professional. I know he says he doesn’t date people he works with but come on we both know he has broken this rule multiple times. If they broke up I can’t picture Seth being petty and holding her back on set. Plus I don’t think she is a main character so I don’t think she would be the first person to get a raise before the other actors.

If two consenting adults who work together decide to date I think they should think it through, be professional at all times, and beware of the consequences. 😊
