We are each other’s missing pieces. We are what will make each other whole.
As a writer, if someone falls in love with my work, I know they have fallen in love with my mind. Having no idea what my face looks like, they chose my mind. Art may be the only place a woman can be whole without being seen.

Broken vessels we are,
dragged across the plain of life.
Learning we are,
with each scar.
We forget at times,
and oh do we forget at times.
But learning we are,
We stay strong, we hold on.
We cry and then move on.
Learning we are.
We continue... We look to God sometimes.
While God is saying look at yourselves.
“You already have all you need.”
We blame things, people and places,
Learning are we.
