I am proud to announce that my story The Most Faithful Saga is officially finished both on Wattpad and on Ao3 revised in Italian version. The English version will be completed soon. As you know English is not my native language, so any corrections are more than welcome. I have been looking for a beta reader for a long time without success so I am trying to revise the English version as well but it is a very long job.

If anyone wants to translate my story into their language feel free to do so, I just ask you to let me know so that I can add you to the official list so as many people as possible can find your translation. Thank you so much for the support and readings.

Caradoc Dearborn had never thought that darkness could corrupt a man's soul so deeply. He didn't know if he had ever been a man at all. What had he done with himself, with his entire life, to end up in the very heart of evil? To betray his comrades, his cause, to embrace the power of the one he hated? The answer tormented him, like a scar that never healed. The darkness had invaded not only his body and his mind, but his heart as well. Malfoy Manor, a castle of black stone, was both his place of imprisonment and his passion. Here, in the cold halls, every corner whispered the poison of dark magic. And yet, in that starless night, there was a light that shone. Not a light of hope, but of curse: Bellatrix Lestrange. The love he felt for her was not love, but a twisted desire that crushed him. Bellatrix was the fire that burned his flesh, yet Caradoc could not tear himself away. He saw her every day, serving the Dark Lord with a loyalty that crushed him. She moved with the grace of a goddess, but in every step was the blood of her victims, the madness that boiled within her. Caradoc was drawn to her in a way he couldn’t understand. It wasn’t just her beauty that burned his mind, but her dark soul, the love she gave the Dark Lord unconditionally. That loyalty, that devotion that Bellatrix felt for Voldemort shattered him, but at the same time it attracted him like a cursed one. It was an addiction that grew stronger and stronger. And despite the hatred he felt for what his heart had chosen, there was a part of him that wanted to fall. To fall under the yoke of that sick passion.

Normal conversations between the Dark Triumvirate

Voldemort: If Muggles stopped infiltrating our world, there would be no war. Caradoc: But Muggle-borns are victims of the system, they are not to blame. You too were born among Muggles.

Voldemort: When you say things like that, I just want to cruciate you. I mean, you know, you deserve it. Caradoc: This really just highlights your lack of reasoning. You know I'm right.

Bellatrix: Not this topic again, please.

This is exactly how I imagine Caradoc being marked by Voldemort during the First Wizarding War.

The room was dark, save for a dim light from the floating candles that barely illuminated the figures standing in the shadows. The cold wind from the hall of the mansion hit his bare skin, making him shiver. The Dark Lord approached him with a scarlet spark in his eyes. Caradoc knew what they wanted to do to him and he knew he couldn't help it. He felt Voldemort's invasive presence in his mind. "Stretch out your left arm" He tried to resist, but a long pain ran down his back until it burned his head. "Stretch out your arm, Caradoc" The cold voice commanded again. Suddenly he felt two hands slipping into his dark hair, his eyes glazed over with pain as he recognized the female figure moving behind him. "Relax" she breathed into his right ear. He never knew if it was the imperius again or just the madness of the moment but he leaned softly against the woman feeling her corset sting his back. The long tapered fingers caressed his hair giving him new shivers. The familiar scent of Bellatrix filled his nostrils. Voldemort approached silent and threatening like a wild beast, raised his wand pointing it at his left arm still pale and empty for a moment. His body began to tremble, he saw the pale green glow emanate from the wand before a searing pain hit his skin. It was as if he was burning from the inside, sliding around his entire forearm like a fiery snake. The dark mark began to slowly outline, each dark line corrupting the skin until it dug into it. A scream escaped his lips, but he stifled it immediately. He did not want to give Voldemort satisfaction. The tattoo burned into his skin, the black mark clearly forming. A scar that would never heal. Caradoc could smell the sickening smell of burning flesh, he could feel that his very soul had been stained by that symbol, indelibly corrupted. Bellatrix's hands tightened, he could feel the heat of her face near his right cheek. "It's done" she whispered to him, her voice warm, like a lover's. Caradoc didn't breathe, the pain was too much. He sank deeper into Bellatrix's chest, exhausted and corrupted by the darkness.

Bellatrix: Darling, people die all the time, it's one of the few certain things they do. I'd find it more shocking if they started eating with their mouths closed.
