Keegan Russ x reader Imagines: He’s back on leave after a deployment

My 2nd full writing post, this time with Keegan Russ! Thinking about doing a full thing for the next one instead of just bullet points too

cw: mentions of poor driving skills, fluff. Can be read as gn!reader/slight implied f!reader? idk passenger princess is a term used

Fucking scares the shit out of you because you never know when he’s back.

You expect for him to come home based on the past few times he’s been on deployment and how long he’s been gone in the past. No matter how many times it happens, it still scares you when he just shows up in your home again. He’s so silent; it’s honestly impressive.

You didn’t have any time to prepare anything big and celebratory, but Keegan doesn’t mind. He’s home now and you’re both happy. He has a raging case of emotionless face syndrome, but you can still see in his eyes that he’s glad to be home.

Once you both go to bed, he gets the best sleep he’s had in weeks. This man sleeps like an immovable boulder. He’s so silent, when you first started dating you wondered if he'd fallen into a coma the first time you shared a bed with him. You could move around a lot in your sleep, accidentally kick him, take his share of the blankets, and he still wouldn’t flinch.

Because he’s away often, in his absence you adopted a cat (or other small animal of your choosing) to keep you company. Like the old man Keegan is, he originally said he didn’t want any animals in your home, and even still, it took some time before he admitted to caring about your pet.

Back home, it takes a day or so for Keegan to readjust into a routine with you as a civilian. Once he is, though, you two have your quality time together, as he catches up on the latest tea in your friend circle or job, and you hear about Logan’s unfortunate haircut, how Merrick’s stamp collection is growing, and petty scuffles breaking out amongst the newest batch of recruits. Keegan may pretend he’s uninterested in drama, but he loves spilling tea with you just as much as he loves having sass competitions with you

Keegan isn’t very big on movies. It’s very rare he gets invested into a series either, but he will sit with you and watch along with your show. Other than an occasional question, he generally grasps the plot quickly and simply follows along with the episode.

As much as you would like to be a passenger princess, he’s not allowed to drive.

Vamp!Soap x f!reader drabble

(request that I hopefully did justice to)

Johnny was turned into a vampire one night while on leave. Problem is that he doesn’t remember it happening

“Dinnae ken wot happened, hen. A’ woke up this mornin’ an’ naw ah’m a bloody monstae!”

Takes a while to get accustomed to his new self but it happens eventually

Even so, he’s reluctant to drink human blood. Thankfully some places actually just sell cow’s blood- it smells terrible but you put up with the stench of the kitchen for your beloved (although there is always an air freshener packet now, just to help a little bit.)

If someone were to offer him human blood (specifically you), that’s a different story…

He likes your personal space, especially around your neck. If you’re trying to watch a movie with him and his face is too close to your neck, and you can feel his fangs trying to gently nibble on your skin, then good luck. “A’ cannae help mahself, ye jus’ smell so good.” (The Scotsman is going to get that blood some way, I’m telling you.)

Extra careful about not smelling like blood just for you. He already reeks of dirt, sweat, and gore from work, but he’s more careful than ever about his personal hygiene. Also keeps his fangs nice and pointy — they’ve grown on him a bit since his initial transformation.

Simon once told you about a time Johnny had a near-death experience at work, and how the madlad tore into the other man with his bare teeth. You had never seen more fear on Simon’s face than when he recalled the story.

Finally, since he’s undead, he doesn’t actually have any blood flowing through his body anymore. He will always use this as an excuse to cuddle or have any physical contact with you 24/7. It’s not too different because he quite enjoyed physical affection as a love language pre-transformation, but now he has an excuse to cuddle you more and uses it all the time.

Hesh Walker x gn!reader Imagines: He’s back on leave after a deployment

A continuation of this imagines series! Pretty late and I’m sorry, school and finals are finally over though so I have more time to write now.

cw: none. fluff

He doesn’t often have decent phone signal, but he’ll try his best to send a text in advance. Should be back sometime Thursday evening. If I’m not back by 23:00, don’t wait. You need to sleep <3

You know he’s home before the door’s even open. Riley may be an excellently trained K9, but you can hear Hesh saying “slow down, boy!” outside the door — they’re finally back, and Riley is just barking with excitement :(.

You ignore the part of his text telling you to not wait late for him. Doesn’t matter if he ended up getting back past midnight; when he and Riley enter the house, you’re waiting there to greet them both with hugs and kisses.

You both make a meal together (or he does, if you can’t/don’t like to cook. shockingly a good cook) and shower (NOTTTT freak). Some food bits are shared with Riley as his treat, and he settles down in his own dog bed :).

After that, it’s late and you’re both very tired. So, you both get into bed and fall asleep cuddling.

While you would like to spend your first full day together sleeping in, Riley has other plans. He wakes up bright and early and is looking forward to his morning walk. The three of you go to the dog park and while Riley gets to play with other dogs, you and Hesh get the opportunity to catch up

Hesh was raised to be very respectful and kinda leaning more on the traditional side — a true gentleman. So, he takes you on nice dates some night, standard couple things to do.

He already introduced you to his family, and they’ve gladly welcomed you into their family. There are “family gathering” days when you do an activity with Elias and Logan, and sometimes other members of Task Force Stalker, if they’re free/willing to join.

He’s very outdoorsy, and so you have to go on at least one hike together. He gets sad when you can’t :(.

You watch movies together. Any movies you both love to rewatch at home, or whatever new films are out that seem interesting. He loves getting to hold you in his arms under a big, warm blanket, and sometimes even Riley settles down on the couch with you two.

Tells you all the time how much he misses you when he’s away — is always expressing his love in any way he can <33

Thinking about Hesh like I always do, but sometimes I remember that for most of the game, he’s 28 (born 1999),, so Hesh is ~10 years older than me and it makes me feel a little bad, because I am literally legal the year Ghosts takes place. 💀 Like yes he’s a fictional character but ughh I feel bad still??? This is weird idk

Sigh I really really like Hesh :(
