I think if Waterboy knows ahead of time that it's going to be your first time, then he would put so much effort into making it special. He remembers his own first time feeling kind of disappointing, and how used he felt, so he's pulling out all the stops for yours. I'm talking; lighting candles in a scent you like, rose petals trailing to the bed, buying extra soft and fluffy towels for you to lie on and be cleaned up afterwards with when he's inevitably soaked you, maybe putting them over a radiator first so they're nice and cosy and warm - how he wants your whole first time with him to feel ❤️

And it's not just the setting that he's focusing on. He's going to be making a mental note of everything he knows you like when it comes to physical affection so he can tailor everything he does to your comfort, and he's going to check in at every stage that things feel good and you're having a nice time. And you KNOW this man is going to completely forget his own needs and make sure that you're more than warmed up, he's going to have his tongue and fingers buried inside you until you're not even sure you can cum again. well first of all, i'll say this now only because it seemed to be brendon riffing off the cuff when there were unexpected technical difficulties at the start of the first show of the tour, but nathan suggested they reenact fan fiction on screen while they wait for things to get fixed. brendon's default setting seems to be nickles-baiting the audience.

okay to your actual question:

SO during the song "The Cyborg Slayers" from Dethalbum II, you can kind of hear what sounds like clean singing in the background during the chorus. the mtl fandom wiki has noticed this:

the vocals during that song are very subtle and in the background, so it was hard to know for sure. in "Hatredcopter" and "Blazing Star", it's really obvious that it's meant to be Pickles because he has solo verses (and the listing for "Hatredcopter" has the following):

so i know lots of fans had just assumed Pickles was on vocals during this track, but given the layering of the track and how, Nathan and Pickles are both voiced by Brendon, it's hard to say for sure that it's really Pickles and not just some weird mixing or vocal feedback or what. at least that was how i felt! and clearly the Dethklok wiki felt the same since it had never confirmed this, even after modern fans started updating it.

SO..."The Cyborg Slayers" had its LIVE DEBUT this show, along with a totally snazzy new video. and i MEAN snazzy, i saw the "Mutilation on a Saturday Night" video from fan recordings. that was not it....THIS was it. it had reused animation sure, but all the MVs do. but it ALSO had brand new animations completely. i really hope it gets a full HQ release, but i doubt it since Mutilation still hasn't had its full release (or the full MVs for "Aortic Desecration" and "SOS"), and neither has other songs performed live, both for the first time during this tour or previously, that had MVs made specifically for them. you're already here for spoiler territory, i'll tell you there's one other song that gets its live debut during this tour (but its video is already available HQ online...) and there's another song that i previously hadn't seen live but was performed in 2012. its video from back then and now is not available HQ online which really sucks.

i lost track of my point ANYWAY THE CYBORG SLAYERS WAS PERFORMED LIVE, and...okay i think you pieced it together lol, brendon sang parts of the chorus with his Pickles singing voice. that's it. :) i posted my partial recording of it, flashing lights warning

Fun fact: did you know I was super worried about my characterization of Miraak in general? Not to mention the incredibly slow burn nature of the fic? But after being in Apocrypha so long, I prefer/like the idea of it taking a long time to get to any point that could be considered romantic — after all, trust needs to come from somewhere . Unlikely allies > friends > lovers sounds natural to do and is fun to explore different facets of their relationship as they go. (Not to mention allows Lilli to grow and mature before anything else.
