They Are Soulmates!

I think Ben almost subconsciously knew that his deafness was more than temporary and that is why he has been trying to avoid definite confirmation (until Jay and Lola gave him no other choice in tonight’s episode). Without Callum, Ben always gets lost in a deep pool of self loathing and darkness- Callum was the light in that darkness and with this new change to his lifestyle, Ben is going to need all the light he can get! 😭

His priority is Callum because he genuinely cannot cope with losing his hearing if he has lost Callum too! 

They depend on each other- they are soulmates!💕

Friendship

It's intersting how in one episode Robyn and Max provide such wonderful support for Lofty. To me it really emphasises how valued that friendship is and lacked in Holby. It does also make me wonder if Lofty would have spiraled the way he did, if he had, had those friends. I think Holby underestimated the importance of friendship for some characters. Max and Robyn were unstoppable. Would have been lovely to see a scene with all 3 at once, but maybe a backstage photo will appear. We see how important friendship is for Dom and how it helped him grow as a character with Zosia, Arthur, Essie, Donna, Sacha, Hansen and Lofty never really built those sort of relationships. I thought there was potential for Lofty and Leah which was an unpopular opinion but she left shortly after. Donna was the closest I think, and even she seemed closer to Dom than Lofty. Keep those friends Lofty 'always'. Robyn gave him a chance and a home, friendship and unconditional live I remember after that nurse died, Lofty broke down and Max just held him, let him cry his heart out. I will never get that image out of my head, Lofty clingy to Max's shirt. On a lighter note, those reindeer costumes at Christmas.

I know Beatrice was having Lofty’s baby (I know she lost it) But are they in some kind of open relationship now? Or polyamorous relation or were Dom and Lofty a couple and just supporting her!!

I’ve not watched Holby for months but desperate for an answer to this question!!!
