Spider-Man characters really keep catching all the Ls in the MCU.

Miles's story elements (and his best friend) got snatched, Peter Parker is Tony Stank 2.0, Mary Jane's initials were superimposed onto an original character, Ben Ulrich was murdered in Daredevil S1, and now Taskmaster is a plot twist akin to retconning Xena's hand in killing Callisto's entire family.

I don't think the MCU likes Spider-Man characters.
