Somehow scales the wheel of the Jeep, jumps over the side ofit, then climbs on top of the roof of the car. Some of the buffalo come to the car. The uncle dives into the water to getaway.And this guy in a tattered shirt and shorts, barefoot, finally shows up andgives all three of them a look of utter disgust.Then says: “HUP HUP HUP.”The buffalo move off down the road, obeying him. Their uncle gets out of thewater, their mother unlocks the door and my mun gets bribed to not tell their father that their mother left an eight-year-old mun to be run over by buffalo.”
