Sometimes I think about the fact that Bens shitty mug of pasta that he made Gia literally saved his life. Cause he mentioned it when he was dying, which made Kenji remember that they had the car and were able to get him to the airfield. If he never mentioned it then they might not have been able to get him help in time
Moral of the story: Always make your girlfriend well intentioned yet crappy food on the first date, it could save your life one day
they highlighted Ben's bisexuality by giving him both a girlfriend and some of the gayest moments with Kenji I have seen in my life

About Ben and Gia relationship
"I can be trouble."
I don't know if this scene was supposed to be funny, but for me it represents exactly the thing I dislike the most about their relationship:
The way their personalities feel off when they are together.
The look in Ben's face during that scene. Bro if that was supposed to be funny than I have no sense of humor.
For me, Gia's line clearly represents the way their relationship portraits Ben's personality. They feel like performing every time they interact. Ben answer to that, saying "I can be trouble", shows to us how discrepant is Ben's self image to the image of him the show portraits when he is with Gia.
It's to much perfection. Their relationship feels like a cliche rom com. It feels superficial, artificial.
And look, I don't know why the writers had the idea of giving him a girlfriend, but I do recognize a heteronormative plot when I see one. And honestly, I'm disappointed but not surprised.

If I understand tumblr correctly, these are the totally canon romantic relationships in Jurassic World: Chaos Theory
So what I'm getting from this is that Brooklynn is the main character in a dating simulator and she's so bad at it that she even causes other members of her polycule to break up with each other. Absolute cinema!
I've seen this going around, so I wanted to do it too lol
