Eren didn't know what to do. Krista'd been crying for a good thirty, totally inconsolable, and the boy had no idea why, or how to help. She'd shown up in the boy's dorm and crawled into his bed almost immediately, and when everyone else had shuffled out awkwardly to get ready for the morning, Eren stayed, panicked and still half-asleep as he soothed the sobbing blonde. Even when she'd been reduced to simple hiccups and whimpers, she still wouldn't talk to him--and that was strange to him, because every time she came to him, she was willing to vent. It was... different this time. Maybe she'd had a nightmare, or someone had been a dick to her...

He shook his head and drew back ever so slightly, cupping her cheek gently to brush away her tears. "I've got you," he promised, offering a little smile as he kissed her forehead tenderly. "You're okay, Krista... I'm right here, and I'm not gonna let you go. I swear."
