Open Starter - Welcome!

"Wow! A whole lot of people are starting to take notice! Well, I better be hospitable!"

"Hey, there! My name's Rock, welcome to Light Labs! How can I help you?"

"How may I help you ma'am?"

"Okay, follower update! Um... I would have done this earlier, but...I forgot."

"...But not this time, oh no! I'm not taking any chances; I brought the list in full so there aren't any slip-ups! Okay, first up, the gap lady--"

A pause.

"...W-Wait. I could have sworn I saw her already, but this one is different...could there be more than one? A-Ah, well...that...weird thing aside, I'm seeing Rin here, now! That vampire girl in the basement, the purplehead scientist, the ghost...lady..."

"O-Okay, who's tricking me?! I KNOW I talked to her already, so why is it saying she followed me twice?! ...Urgh. Okay! Guy with a sword, ghost lady's gardener, the squishy ice woman, that dragon-girl who guards that big house, Reimu, Momiji, and that phoenix girl! There!"

Pant... Pant...

"Oh. And there's another machine man here...but I still smell human on him. Can somebody be machine and human? Weird..."

Mio was walking home after class finished, it seemed oddly quiet, so many students going nowhere, it was generally a lot louder than this given all the people talking, but it didn't bother her. She noticed at a fork in the road as she was crossing that a jetstream of light came zooming to the ground, it was fast, too fast run from, and she was sucked into it. Sucked into another world. 

The time was night, Mio had awoken, "What.. The hell?" She was confused, couldn't remember a thing, but she took a moment to look around, she was on the ground, on grass, looking up, trees, lots and lots of trees. She was in a forest, a bamboo forest. "Where- Where am I?" With great pain Mio tried standing up, it hurt, it hurt like hell. She walked, despite the pain, it's like her legs had been beaten and cut, but her body shown little signs of outward struggle, clearly she'd been attacked. 

She continued walking until she could find a large stick or branch to bear the pain, several minutes passed and she almost feel blood pooling into her shoes, she kept going though, trying to find anyone who could save her. Much longer passed before long into the distance she saw a girl clad in red and white, she wasn't going anywhere, and she wasn't a scarecrow, Mio tried so hard to get closer, it was agonizing but she went on. When she was finally within earshot she was able to say "Help me, please." The girl turned to her and Mio collapsed on her feet.

What do we have here?” A grin formed onto the maiden’s lips as she stared at the albino woman, “I’m surprised I’d ever see you come here.” It wasn’t a lie that she was surprised, she didn’t think the phoenix would even come here. Since they were ‘enemies’ and what not, her attention was then brought to the magician, “Ah, you’re that witch…Marisa was your name, right?” She blinked a few times, “So, what do you two want?”
