How good is Life is Strange?

I really enjoyed the first episode of Life is Strange. It takes place in our world but has a character with a unique ability that really changes the way her world works and can effect those around. You have some pretty good choices throughout, many of which you can rewind (using Max's ability) and see the immediate outcomes although each one will have a consequence later on and it alerts you that your choice will impact the story somehow later on. The atmosphere was incredible, the soundtrack is very nice. The voice acting is great but the script itself seems... dated? It takes place in 2013 but you have 18 year olds saying "hella" and "awesome sauce" and its just ???? many say it starts off slow but it really didn't. it has a nice flow to it, the characters are diverse and interesting and I'm looking forward to the next episode!

I don't even know most of the lyrics to Rap God. I don't even listen to Eminem. But all last night I just kept thinking "I'm beginning to feel like a rap god, rap god" and it wOULD NOT STOP I HAVE NO EXPLANATION AS TO WHY SERIOUSLY.

2. What is the one food you wish you could eat right now?

Some pizza from The Spot Underground. Bar food is surprisingly good.

Aw, I like this one. It encourages positive self-image. Um, (1) my hair is pretty bitchin even when it's not at the top of it's game, (2) I have a pretty good taste in music I think, (3) I'm pretty funny at least I find myself pretty funny, (4) overall I think I just look pretty good like if I catch my reflection in something while I'm out in public I'm usually like "omg holla at me bitch u look awesome" maybe that's a bit conceded idk, (5) does my icon count bc I love my icon.

6. If you could turn a fictional world (games, tv series, movies) real, and live in it, what would it be?

My initial response was Harry Potter but I'm also now thinking about how cool it would be to live in Star Wars so idk one of those.

7. What is your favorite phrase that you said to someone or wrote down?

Fuck, um, idk??? Probably some super clever tweet.

8. What is the best compliment anyone’s ever given you?

"You remind me of Alex Day."

9. You get a not so helpful superpower. What is it? (example: ability to grow your hair fast, ability to cause pimples to breakout in someone’s face, ability to make towels fly, etc. )

Listen, all of those example superpowers could be hella helpful so idk. Maybe the ability to make packages arrive in less than 5-7 business days??

10. What is your favorite shirt or outfit? Why?

Shit I love all my clothes I have like a million different awesome outfits how am I supposed to choose?? I guess recently I've been really wishing the weather would warm up so I could wear this one strapless, floor length sundress but I wouldn't say it's my favorite.

I really want to learn Tagalog, because it's my dad's language. I think Welsh would be cool, too.

In response to the person looking for a non classic progression system, I'm currently in a campaign where we've discarded the d20 altogether, focusing on extreme roleplaying instead, with minor rolls done by the DM from time to time. I'm sure that with a great deal of DM narration and roleplaying this system could be altered to fit an item based progression.

I'm a Ravenclaw, most of my friends are Hufflepuffs, and my sister's a Slytherin!

A few months!

Definitely a wand from Harry Potter. Knowing me, the wand that chooses me would probably double as a conductor's baton.

Anything written by Terry Pratchett or Neil Gaiman, for starters. I have lots more favorite books but the list would be too long.

Nope! I've had crushes, but never anything I'd call romantic love.

That's a good question, and I honestly don't know. I do identify a lot with Hiccup from How To Train Your Dragon, but he hasn't really inspired me per se...

Going to London for a week was the most amazing Hannukah present ever.

An elf, probably. But not the badass fighter kind of elf like Legolas or Tauriel. I'd be the elf that hangs out in Rivendell and sings all the time and is really happy.
