True. But we see all of him, Anne for example does not. She saw him as a trusted friend. Him getting close to her husband is out of power, I’m not saying he’s not a power hungry ego maniac, just that at least part of it (his “love” or obsession as it actually is) is to him--the nice guy. He’s the victim, of his obsession. I’m curious what came first, his obsession with Anne or his need for power. Or was the power because his obsession?

Amanda as Mary Morstan who (spoiler) it turned out wasn't Mary but I'm kinda wanting to try and distance myself from the more...hateful parts of the Sherlock fandom. Recently a few tumblr users were hating on Amanda and telling her that they didn't want to see her in anymore Sherlock episodes and it ended up on my dash because one of my followers stuck up for her. I'm just starting to lose my faith in this fandom!

Sometimes I feel that some people should try to lay off their very strong misogynistic feelings about actresses who happen to have played the wrong fictional character at the wrong time and just enjoy what they claim to be their favourite show.
