College

To be honest, college sucks. I understand the ‘Being Free’ part, but what about the studies.

Now, I’m not being unappreciative.

“You sure?”

Okay fine, I’m happy that I got in to one while others can’t, But, hear my reasons first. I was accepted by Berjaya College, I’m taking SKM Event Management, level 3. Now, SKM is a course for those who failed their basic requirement to enter any College/University in Malaysia, which are, Bahasa Melayu(our language) and History. Unfortunately, I failed my History, which is a bummer since I pass all my other subjects. It’s a vocational course.

Back on track, my course is a mix with SKM Food and Beverages and HIAS(free studies and internship). When it started, I thought the teaching was slightly childish. Since it was mix with food and beverages, I was taught how to fold napkins and what utensils are for. Okay, I get it. Spoons are for scooping up foods not catapults, it was just that one time.

Okay twice, It’s fun. I’m kidding, I wouldn’t do such a thing

But on a serious note. It’s been a month and I haven’t been taught a single thing about managing any events. Well, there was this one time when I hosted a Raya Event. But it wasn’t even a proper event. When will it begin…. For the time being, I’ll just be stuck with learning how to use utensils properly.
