Mike Wheeler is dead. Nancy wheeler doesn't know how to process this. She never really knew her brother. They might have shared a last name but that was where the similarities ended. Nancy was popular, got good grades, liked normal things, and went on dates with boys. Mike spent most of his time playing dnd in the basement with his dweeb friends.

But when Nancy finds her brother's weird notebook, she goes to the only person she figures can help her. Dustin Henderson. One of her brother's best friends and the weirdest kid she knows. He teaches her how to play. And she goes through her stupid little brother's stupid dnd campaign.

She finally gets to know him. She gets to know that he hates her boyfriend. She gets to know that he got bullied. She gets to know that he was ... Gay. And through this, she gets to know some of his friends as well. Dustin, Will, Max, and Lucas.

The game ends, like all games have to, and Nancy Wheeler can finally move on.

there is nothing i want worse in this world than to make a She Kills Monsters movie that is loyal to the script, campy as hell, and uses practical effects wherever possible, and also is shot on film.

unfortunately to do that i need to finish my degree, get funding, and buy the movie rights. hell is real and its being an undereducated queer film major with no money in the modern age.
