Gestelhof Castle is located in Gestel-Berlaar, Belgium. The castle was built in the 16thcentury in Neo-Flemish Renaissance and Neo-Baroque styles. Located on 48 acres in a national park along the River Nete, the structure is flanked by two canals. The castle suffered through a fire and was rebuilt in 1796. The castle underwent further renovations, and additions were completed in the 20thcentury. The castle has five levels with an expansive cellar, a library, a billiards room, a wine cellar, a massive entrance hall, and an indoor greenhouse. The interior boasts stuccos, rosettes, and decorated columns. The exterior has a stone and brickwork façade, a slate roof, a rooftop terrace, and a swimming pool. Exterior buildings on the property include a gatehouse, a miniature castle, a former bakery, a farm complex, and stables with a horse training facility. Gestelhof Castle is considered an official monument of Belgium. Gestelhof Castle operates as a Bed & Breakfast in one of their outbuildings, offering rooms with views of the castle.
