Doli and Celeste had a good time; they had some drinks, danced a bit, then we’re talking about getting back on the train.

Until - Hiro grabbed the mic, that is.

He says he’s not really a singer, but he’s pretty good. Guess he just likes producing more.

Just as they were heading out, Akira called her over.

Is it awkward to see one of your subs IRL? Why yes, it is.

Interestingly, enough, he confessed to subbing not just for her contact, but he remembers her punk band - low-key had a crush on her ever since then. He told her if she’s ever in the mood to play again, he might have a few people he could hook her up with.

Doli told him she’s more interested in staying home with her husband and her baby; she’s not up to touring or anything like that.

Akira told her that was a shame, but he understands. Then he invited her to come up on stage and do a number with him.

He said it was a dream of his – but he was probably secretly hoping once she got a mic back in her hand she’d get the itch again.

He wasn’t entirely wrong, but the timing’s just not right. This was fun though; she wishes Jay was here to see her. 

Speaking of Jay, look who was here to hear her – none other than her sister-in-law Bernice.

Relax, Bernie - Your brother isn’t here.

Bernice like Dolly, but she’s always been a little jealous how she navigate through life; she kind of wishes she felt that free. Although she and her sibling have tensions, she admires the kind of partner Jay is for his wife.

I suppose because she's one of very few sims Mortimer Goth has met, wherever he goes Bernice Robles gets dragged along by the game too so here at Municipal Muses museum she had to spend an afternoon looking sad in the rain while very pregnant. Sorry Bernice!

Everyone had a really good time at prom. Oscar and I both had an eye on Kyle and Erica, to make sure they didn't slip off together, and they didn't. Oscar and L didn't excuse themselves to smoke behind the auditorium. And I danced with Lilith - I haven't spent as much time with her since we started at Copperdale, but she's still the same Lilith I've known since I was a kid. Still crazy, still joking about running off and stealing alcohol and climbing the water tower. Actually I'm not sure she was joking.

Erica was crowned Prom Queen. She was delighted. We didn't tell her that we rigged the vote - Oscar and I, plus all our friends, voted for her.

After the announcement everyone went to eat, and Lilith nudged me and told me to go dance with Angela. She turned down so many dates that she ended up without one, and she was too proud to ask around. Honestly, I'd wanted to all night, but I was waiting for Lilith's permission. Angela looked stunning. Maybe I should have voted for her as Prom Queen.

A happy customer came in for more of Noemí's baked goods! It must've been the wedding reception of the century judging by how much more food she ordered to take back to the hotel and how she walked into the bakery. We love this customer's energy!
