heroic tales - elder summoners
A short distance from the Summoner's Hall building is a park with a great view. There are many familiar faces there; all of them the Legendary Summoner and Tilith knew well from 20 years ago.
"Well then, in celebration of our reunion... cheers!" The woman who said this was named Lin, a former communications officer at ASH. She had quit her job when she got married, and now supports her husband (who is a summoner) with housework and taking care of their children. This was a gathering that she had organized after hearing that her idol and the goddess had temporarily returned to Elgaia, so she had used all of her connections to organize it.
Sitting next to the Legendary Summoner is, of course, his childhood friend and best friend, Karl. "Are you tired? Are you eating properly? Here, I know you like this one. If you want a refill, there's plenty more."
"You're acting like their mother, Karl." Tilith laughed, sitting on the other side of them. The Legendary Summoner is clearly happy to be here. They don't let themselves be outdone, and take care of Karl just the same as he's doing for them.
"We're going to talk a lot today!" With that, Karl began to talk about their shared memories.
"Now that I think about it, our first meeting was pretty awful. We just kept fighting!" The one who said this and was laughing with Tilith was Seria, who's remembering what happened when they were in Grand Gaia. Though they don't talk, their smiles speak volumes about the strong friendship that has been built between them.
"My first impression of you was terrible too." Seria was uncomfortable with everyone's attention, and was happy when Lugina spoke up. "And then you defeated a god before I did..." He muttered in a dissatisfied tone. Despite being a simple summoner, the Legendary Summoner defeated the Creator Maxwell at St. Lamia Castle. For the younger Lugina, who had always called himself the strongest that ASH had to offer, this was something that he couldn't tolerate.
"Aw, Lugi. You're just jealous of my summoner~!"
"I'm not! Also, please stop calling me that. I don't like it." Lugina became sullenly quiet.
"Even though he says that, it looks like he's not entirely opposed..." Karl whispered to his best friend, who smiled innocently. (im going to howl.)
Karl, Seria, Lugina, the Legendary Summoner, and the Goddess Tilith are friends who have overcome many hardships together. Seria's friendship with the Legendary Summoner was established during their battle against Cardes in Palmyna, while Lugina's friendship with the Legendary Summoner was built during their battle against Zevalhua in Mirvana.
"You guys have really grown up..." Grahdens looks happy at the four (five? its five.) of them having fun like they did 20 years ago. To the former summoner, who turned 92 this year, Karl and the others will always remain children. "Warlon, you see that? Akras will continue to grow." (WARLON NEVER EVEN KNEW THEIR NAMES. WARLON DIDNT GIVE A FUCK ABOUT THEM) The old man looked up at the sky quietly.
The summoners aren't the only friends of the Legendary Summoner and Tilith. "I haven't given up yet. What about now? Why don't you join the RSF?" Paris, (who can also summon), who has risen to become the Prime Minister of the Randall Empire, makes an invitation to the Legendary Summoner. She had been hoping to win them over to her side ever since they defeated Afla Dilith in Aldahlia. Of course, she understands and supports the Legendary Summoner and Tilith as they continue their noble journey. "I'm just kidding." She responds to the Legendary Summoner's wry smile and takes a sip from her glass.
The banquet continued to get more intense, with the Legendary Summoner and Tilith at the center. No one looked sad, except for one man. Tilith approached Eriole, who was watching the others from a distance, and called out to him cheerfully. "Is your wife doing well?" (SHE KNOWS?)
"Tesla? ...Thanks to you, she's fine." Eriole apologized to Tilith for his wife not being able to attend (WHY. EVERY WOMAN EXCEPT SERIA AND SERA IS NOW A STAY AT HOME WIFE THAT WE NEVER SEE AGAIN) and gave a brief introduction to his son, Theodore.
Theodore, meeting the goddess for the first time, seemed very nervous. "This was the person who saved my father's heart... along with that summoner over there..." (NOT what i would call that. but WHATEVER) During the battle with the Four Fallen Gods in Grand Gaia, Eriole made the mistake of betraying others due to his own ambition. (NOT what i would call it!!!) However, the reason he was able to build a family (with his adoptive sister) and continue to play an active role in Randall to this day is none other than the existence of the Legendary Summoner and Tilith.
"Come on, Noah! Come on, you've got a chance to chat."
"Gyah! Stop pushing me, Elise!" Noah stumbled forward, and upon realizing that the Legendary Summoner was in front of him, greeted him somewhat brusquely. To Noah, the summoner before him was a rival. Although he quickly came to acknowledge the difference in their abilities, he needed some time to be honest about it. That had nothing to do with the fact that he left the Summoning Hall with Elise, who watched his clumsy behavior with a grin.
"You two got married! I knew it would happen someday~!" Everyone nodded in agreement with Tilith. However, the Legendary Summoner's eyes were wide with shock. (king. they know she deserves better.)
"You're perfect and charming... that must be why you're so popular." With a friendly smile on his face but a sharp look in his eyes, Bertz placed his hand on the Legendary Summoner's shoulder. (gayboy.) "I've been keeping an eye on you ever since Ishgria." From here on, Bertz continues his monologue for a while, but everyone listened with excitement to the heroic tale of the Legendary Summoner.
Since their first encounter in Celgrad, they've faced the War Demon Shusui on numerous occasions. In Lem, they were sometimes manipulated by Mora, and in the land of the same name, there was a fierce battle with Beiorg. Despite being hindered by a mysterious man, the Legendary Summoner defeated Melord as well, and continued to move forward to save Tilith.
"At that time, I felt that Lord Owen was more frightening than the demons." Paris shuddered as she remembered when Owen had stood before her and the other summoners in Wulgee. Owen was a powerful summoner who had left behind many legends. Needless to say, they had a hard time. Grahdens didn't miss the slight smile on Owen's face next to him. (I THOUGHT HE WAS MISSING?) What that smile meant is left up to one's imagination.
But Kate (YAY KATE) smiled and said "I'm glad you've grown up to be such a fine person."
The summoners, having been re-trained (NEARLY KILLED) by Owen, defeated Mordlim, who was plotting to invade Elgaia, in Rakshult, and then in Zamburg they defeat Amu-Yumos, who has been watching over time for eons. In Fal Nerga, they faced off against Karl's real father, the dragon demon Barion.
"I'm so glad you're my best friend," Karl whispered, but the noise of the crowd drowned him out. However, his feelings reached the Legendary Summoner.
"Please take good care of Lord Karl." It was unclear how long the red dragon had been there, but he quietly bowed his head towards the Legendary Summoner. Then he placed a wine bottle down on the table and left. It was some time before Karl and the others learned of Liomerg's visit.
Bertz's monologue had reached the part about the fierce battle with the God Emperor Karna Masta, after the battle with Kalon, the last of the Demon Lords. Then Seria and Lugina join in, and the conversation becomes even more lively as they reminisce.
"Alright, that's enough about Ishgria. What Tilith did after that was even more incredible." Everyone turned to the direction of Reda's voice. She must have just returned from another world, and behind her were two old-fashioned robots floating in the air. They were machines created in Bectas, the predecessor of Ixtas. They became Reda's companions when she visited there with the Legendary Summoners, and have been helping her surveys ever since.
After leaving Ishgria, the summoners found themselves faced with a new crisis. The power of summoning had become unstable. The Legendary Symmoner carved out their own path through other worlds starting with Bectas, Vilanciel, and Ohbanahara. Reda's storytelling greatly inspires everyone present.
"Well then, let me tell you what happened in Rokkzalm, Valdroar, and the strange adventures (NOT WHAT I WOULD CALL IT!!) in St. Creek." Bertz appeared again and spoke of the fierce battle between the Legendary Symmoner and the Abel Faction, expressing his feelings as someone who was once a member of that organization.
"Bertz... isn't he... a pain?" Mel asked softly. The Legendary Summoner shook their head, and she gave them a slight smile. "Yeah... if he's not bothering you... I guess it doesn't bother me either..." The Legendary Summoner and Tilith couldn't help but feel their hearts warm. Just as they had wished, this artificial being was moving forward of her own volition.
"Well, I wonder if it's time to hear about your journey. I need some new research ideas."
"In that case, let's have some tea and take a listen. Maybe it would be better to do this in the library..."
"Rhynt, sorry, but my lab is the priority."
"No, no, Noel, the library is a more important-"
For Noel and Rhynt, who have gained a great deal from the information provided by the Legendary Summoner and Tilith, spending time with them is a top priority. Although they usually appear more mature than they are, right now they are desperately trying to get their own way.
Then Sera stood up. "If you need their time, please go through me." Her glasses gleam. She closed one eye to look cool and continued. "Leave the support of you two to me. That's my job."
"That's right, this was exactly what I wanted to see! Everyone is gathering around them, and they look so happy... oh, of course, I'm happy too~" Lin was intoxicated by the dreamlike feeling.
"Those two are what mommy's always talking about, the summoner and the goddess. Isn't it nice?"
"Yes!" The lively child sitting next to her has had sparkling eyes for a while now. Lin named her child after the Legendary Summoner. She's thinking of naming her soon to be born baby girl after the goddess.
"No matter where we are, we're connected. Let's all get together like this soon!" The Legendary Summoner nodded vigorously at Karl's words and raised their glass in response. Everyone else joined the toast.
A moment of peace comes to Elgaia. The Legendary Summoner and Tilith's group continues to expand, now and forever.
"I love you all so much!" Tilith speaks for everyone.
And then the Legendary Summoner opened their mouth-
As smiles bloomed in abundance, the sound of toasts rang out loudly.
