Beryl: *puts a drink down on the table*
Little Thalia: *stares with wide blue eyes 100% seriously* Put a coaster down, mommy.
Zeus/Jupiter: *also staring with equally blue eyes and seriousness* She's right, Beryl.
Baby Jason: *staring dead on too despite not knowing what's going on*
Beryl: ?????

I will never let the fandom forget that Zeus is also the god of hospitality.
remembered that jason's abandonment issues are canon #killmenow
It's probably widely accepted among the mortals that Beryl Grace murdered her two children. There's probably true crime fan blogs dedicated to it.
“haha, jason ate a stapler, that’s how he got the scar on his lip,” but we never stop to think about the implications of why he tried to eat that stapler. sure, babies are always getting their hands on everything, but beryl was also neglectful mother who spent most of her time drunk, high, or pulling stunts for media attention. she likely didn’t bother to look after her children; didn’t bother to feed them or play with them. thalia was probably forced to take care of jason, an 8 year old girl struggling to keep herself and her year old baby brother alive. jason most likely in part ate that stapler because he was neglected and had no one looking out for him other than another child.
thinking about how since beryl was so controversial, there were probably blogs and articles written about the conspiracy of her children, and what could've happened to them, now just imagine jason stumbling upon them and reading each and every one (it progressively gets farther and farther away from the truth)
The tragedy of Beryl Grace is that she was a young woman with a dream, who fell in love with the wrong man.
The tragedy of Beryl Grace is what she become a mother without wanting to be one, and without a a support network.
Tha tragedy of Beryl Grace is that, because of Zeus, she lost her dream, to become a mother.
The tragedy of Beryl Grace is that she was only human, and the gods played with her life. Twice.
The tragedy of Beryl Grace is that she could never be loved by her childern, just like she could never totaly love them because of what Zeus did to her.
The tragedy of Beryl Grace is that forever she will be only see as an evil woman, without any shade, when she was a very flawed person put an in a situation so much bigger than her.
It’s the fact Sally fought for Percy tooth and nail to raise him while Beryl gave up Jason with the intention of saving herself.
And Percy became someone so loyal to a fault that it hurts and Jason became someone so incapable of putting himself above others it got him killed.
