Spawn absolutely adores children and is about the only one of the hounds Cord trusts to actually watch kids. Bethy loves kids too but she’s very childlike herself. Spawn is closer to late teens/early 20′s in terms of mentality and does great with kids of any age.

Viola and Bethryn have never actually met. Cord got Bethy about 3 years after Vi died.

After her cat died, Cord started using Bethy as her familiar.

Cord started honing her innate magical abilities when she started doing crossroads deals. When she got Bethy right before her exile, she began training the hound to be her familiar. That was definitely a smart move.

12. what are your character’s major flaws?

She has no concept of personal space and despite being an adult, she is still so painfully childish in her mannerisms and ideals.

13. what does your character pretend or try to care about?

Nothing. Bethy has such a childlike innocence that she doesn’t really know how to pretend to care or not care.

14. how does the image your character tries to project differ from the image they actually project?

She tries to come off as completely human at times, but with her red eyes, sort of skin crawling aura, and complete puppy-ish demeanor, she fails horridly. 

15. what is your character afraid of?

Losing her home and the people she cares for. This goes double for Jake because she will always see him as her pup.

Cord, at one point, was something of a friend to one of the demons in charge of breeding hellhounds. After helping her out of a small issue with a wanna be hunter, she was given a pup in a secret.

Having a habit of being a smartass, Cord decided to raise the pup like a normal dog, away from hell and named her Bethryn.
