I don't think Pencil should have a happy ending after Tpot.

Look, Pencil is just in general a really fucking shitty and selfish person, she shouldn't be allowed to have the kind of ending where freesmart forgives her and welcomes her back like some people are expecting

She was extremely emotionally abusive to Book in particular and was constantly being flip floppy with Ruby and Bubble, she tries to control who Ice Cube is friends with and drags Match around like she's her own personal lap dog

Bubble and Ruby had a right to not originally want to go but they're only realistically doing it for Match and I seriously do hope Match starts to realise just how bad of a person Pencil can and has been while they're heading there

Especially once they realise what Pencil is doing, she's trying to go back in time to stop herself from doing the things she did so she can get her friends back. Now you can see that as her being remorseful but honestly, I see it as her being selfish. Yeah she may feel bad and realise what she did was wrong but I genuinely believe that she doesn't realise what she did was wrong.

What I mean is that she's realised that she did something bad and that's why Freesmart doesn't want to be around her, but she doesn't see what she's done wrong. Because if she did see what she did wrong, she wouldn't be actively going back in time to change the past to have them all forget what she did.

She needs to let them go. Let them decide if they want to continue being her friends or not. She needs to be ok with whatever option they choose. And I really hope that that will be the narrative path they go down, a bittersweet ending. Fitting for someone like Pencil.

Pencil isn't doing anything to change herself now. The moment she was brought back to compete in Tpot, she immediately tried forcing Ice Cube and Book to be her friends, despite the fact they were very clearly uncomfortable and no longer wanting to be around her anymore. She's instead trying to change the past.

I want to see that explored.

You can never change the past. No matter how hard you try. You can only change the you now and what you'll do going forward. Being content and accepting whatever the people around you choose to do. Because no-one deserves to be treated the way you treated them and expected to be ok with being your friend again.

There is a reason why Pencil and Pen are parallels of each other. Pen did some bad things and had his own group but he is more aware, he's willing to change and he's already come to terms with the fact that, well, his friends have moved on. And he's ready to move on too.

Pencil is the opposite.

I want to emphasise that I do not hate Pencil or think she's a bad character for having flaws, I actually really love Pencil, she's an incredibly complicated character with a lot of very visible flaws, hell I made a coloured animation of her and I almost never do that because of burnout

What I'm trying to say here is that Pencil should not have a happy ending, she should have a bittersweet ending where we leave her off with the idea that she's going to better herself and let her friends go

Rant on BFDIA 24

I would like to start by saying I loved this episode for the most part. The visuals were stunning, first only women final 2, humor was great, and story was amazing. There was one thing I didn't like, however. That thing being Jack. I don't think it made sense and was kind of disappointing.

Just visualize what could've happened. Everything stopping when the phone rang. It gets dark and its eerie. The phone repeatedly said "Follow the twin blue stars" and even Book is uneasy. Book followed them. The abandoned season 1 set. It was broken down. Like time just stopped. Ice Cube sacrificed herself to help.

Book is there, and the stars are outside of the universe? Why does BFDI need to have a multiverse? I mean, I guess out AUs are kind of canon in the BFDI multiverse? I mean it doesn't make sense. Book continues, and its Jack? A human? It's an object show, why are humans here? And no, I don't view Davidians as humans, I view them as drawings, not humans. I believe humans are fiction in the BFDI universe, kind of like how they are in II. They just added a human for no reason. I get Jack was technically in TPOT 15, but it could have worked as a universe where they made a fictional being real. The only other time he was there was a simple prank for April Fools. I also do realize it's one of their first animations, but putting it into a whole different project feels weird. Sure, I get references, but full on?

It just felt anticlimactic. Lots of things could habe been done with the stars. They made it seem so eerie in the beginning, for it just to be eyes. Also, how did it seem to be in BFDI's universe, despite being outside. I get it's fiction, but still. They could've made sentient stars, kind of like how Blackhole is a sentient black hole (dead stars). They could have done an actual interesting concept.

Anyways, these are just my thoughts. I want to say once again, I loved the episode. This is just the one thing I didn't like at all.

im glad taggy is getting attention but did they forget abt black hole? 😔😔 and don't even get me STARTED on tpot 20 it was just there. tpot 20 should have been a side ep i guess one deserves an episode for being the main antagonist but 40-50 minutes is a stretch tbh tpot 20 could have been what we got for tpot 21 but NOOO one needs allllll the screentime

amd where is one anyway? she should be prioritizing fixing three, based off of how she acted in flashbacks. isnt that 95% of the reason she wants limitless power in the first place? if she's dealing with bh first then that's just unnecessary angstmaxxing, especially if fanny is erased too since bh has ABSOLUTELY NOTHING one wants. it would be best if one keeps him captive so he doesn't mess with the rift

and is one trying to get another tpot 15 all over again? did she send pencil back just to cause timeline issues? and WHY? for FUN?? if thats the case that would INSANE mischaracterization. doesnt she want three back? have we forgotten how panicked she was in her backstory ? she genuinely wanted to fix three. she was relatable and complex but now she's being ruined. i don't hate her, i hate how she's being written.

I really like it when Golf Ball recites statistics in the show but it really annoys me when she does it during an elimination (or other voting stuff) because it's always based on if her being eliminated/rejoin/whatever is like if a wheel spun once and the statistic is the likelihood of it landing on her

Which is NOT how it works. There'd have to be a wheel for every voter and even then you can't use a wheel for this voting stuff a majority of the time because most people voting don't pick random. They pick based on their opinions. And you can't accurately predict such things unless you really know the person and understand their opinion on Golf Ball and even then like people can be unpredictable sometimes. And then you multiply this by the thousands.

Her actually chance of being eliminated would be so much more complicated and while I know this probably isn't acknowledged in the show and the chance of being eliminated statistic thing is just for the funny it still really annoys me because she should know better. She really should.

As a sensitive person who relates to four, he isn't that whiny and sensitive. If you lost almost everyone who made you feel like you had purpose, you would be like that too. Cuz god forbid a murderous character shows some emotions. God forbid the fact he may have been masking, and still is.

Also Four was kinda of nerfed, but in defense, in a panicked state, your mind can go foggy. He also didn't want to hurt Pencil. He even realized he was in the wrong.
