I'll die on the hill that the funniest scene in the entirety of the Odyssey is when Circe tells Odysseus they have to go speak to some prophet dude in the underworld and the entire crew including Odysseus just COLLAPSES WAILING AND MOANING. RIPS OFF THEIR CLOTHES. they are like little victorian ladies and it is SO fucking funny
