Haken no Hinkaku 2 Starring: Shinohara Ryoko, Koizumi Kotaro Rumours are this series was given the reboot because Yonekura Ryoko no longer wants to make endless brainless Doctor X series. Unfortunately, some things are better enshrined in memory. The original series was a commentary on what had been a fairly new trend of casual workers in the Japanese workplace, and the difficulties and prejudices they faced if they wanted to do more. Apparently the landscape of the Japanese workplace has changed these days, and the casual workpool purportedly face less of these issues these days (feel free to correct). The new series tries to work with more topical issues like inappropriate social media use or social media backlash. Like with most good things that are revisited 10 years down the track, the original is better. BG 2 Starring: Kimura Takuya, Saitou Takumi The original was a likeable series, although the central plotline involving one of the politicians was a bit awkward. The new series comes with a tone shift - whereas the original team operated together, the choice this time (probably due to COVID restrictions) was to split the team in half, with the main character operating out of a derelict office with just one partner. This means Saitou gets a much more central role, and his character is elevated from forgettable to endearingly frank. It continues to be a well-produced series, although seems not to have the gravity of the original, and it's disappointing that it will only get 6-7 episodes for its entire run. MIU 404 Starring: Ayano Gou, Hoshino Gen I didn't expect much of this series, as I'm not a huge fan of either of them (although I do respect they're fairly popular). This turns out to be the most enjoyable of the season. It's the typical hot-cold duet, with Hoshino being firmly rules-abiding and Ayano being the laid-back rule-breaker, but both of them are also endearingly human and identifiable. Their interactions are hilarious and the cases have a nice humane touch. Not sure how long the season will be but worth checking out. Miman Keisatsu Starring: Nakajima Kento, Hirano Sho Taking the cool level-headed vs idealistic hot-blooded trope into police academy, and starring two popular JE stars, the first episode was toothachingly dumb. Clearly the standard of the script was that the main characters shouldn't have a brain, and the second episode's preview suggests it is a series of dangerous situations that the main characters willingly put themselves into even though it is neither their place nor obligation.

Just one!! And shit happened!!! So many damn emotions...at least Niall hasn't hurt me. Think I might rethink who my fave is lol JK! I could never turn my back my smol Louis. Or on Larry/Ziam. Gotta admit my heart broke a bit seeing Liam's announcement. Two BGs..thats too much. But then seeing Louis perform..wow! That was 🔥! So incredibly proud of him and he was able to continue to honor his mum. All the Tomlinson-Deakin family posts had me 😭! And when you think things couldn't get more intense here comes Mr Harold Edward MF'n Styles!! Like wtf Harry! The blank pics on insta and changing his profile pics to blanks too. I was already hyperventilating and then 💥 💥 we got a commercial. No name at all but EVERYONE knows who it was. I died and was reborn and still pretty much in shock. This must be 1Ds' way of say don't fucking take a break for a day. Learned my lessonf
the upside is no one will ever find her
The worst thing is, Viconia would've fit perfectly in Shadowheart's storyline. From Viconia's (non-romanced) epilogue, we know this:
Viconia does found a cult of Shar in Waterdeep and she is betrayed by one of her followers. She is, not Shar. Shar, in fact, admonishes Viconia for this, showing she clearly never ordered that. And Viconia does not give a damn. This is the woman who left the cult of Lolth and went to the 'lighter' option that was Shar (compared to Lolth). She already deals with agents sent by Lolth, she's not going to let Shar tell her what to do.
The nature of the betrayal Viconia was the subject of is left entirely up to the player. With Viconia and Shadowheart's backstory being what they are, Shar's plot for a Selûnite child could've been perfectly inserted as the reason for Viconia's falling out with Shar.
Viconia left Lolth because of how children were treated, how she was treated herself. She did not turn to Shar to do the same thing. She would reject Shar's plot the moment the order came, and that would be the perfect trigger for one of her follower to turn of her. Shar's cult being what it is, I don't think taking down the whole lot is overkill to avoid further backstabbing. There aren't many who will pick their priestress over their goddess, especially not with how Sharran's faith emphasizes self-effacing. Can't make a decision for yourself when you don't think for yourself.
Shar's reprimends following what Viconia did further proves this wasn't what the goddess wanted. Complete that by adding she's incensed Viconia rejected her order and slaughtered her willing clerics, and you've got the perfect connection between Viconia and Shadowheart.
In BG 3, we could've met Viconia in Baldur's Gate, rather annoyed because she's been getting an influx of Sharran agents after her, and she's tracking the source to put an end to it. A Shar-aligned Shadowheart could've the mission to purge the cloister that failed to kill her, while a Selûne-aligned Shadowheart would work with her to put and end to the cloister, to give them both some peace and quiet.
Epilogue could've them both sharing tips on 'How to best kill an agent of faith sent after you'. They both have sharp tongues and a similar past, they could've had fantastic banter.
Instead we have this mess.
You know his problems with his father are THAT bad when this is his pick up line
