I like to have reactions on during combat because it helps me follow what's happening and it feels powerful to be able really dial in and choose how my characters react. I also like to have reactions on because you get to see characters mid-strike, like this absolute belter of a sneak attack from Astarion.

I didn't realize in the first big fight in BG3 that your supposed to just run to take control of the ship, not fight all the enemies along the way. I just got my ass handed to me.

Bg3 has the worst combat system Ive ever seen.

So i’m used to playing games like skyrim and dragon age, eso, cyberpunk 2077 etc… so maybe there is something i’m not getting about this game? Idk but in this game every class and character is basically a glass bbgun while ALL of the enemies are heavy weight damage dealing tanks. So what gives?

Meanwhile i am loving the story the characters who are actually diverse in their backgrounds and morality, but the combat is just a huge downer.

I think im cursed. All of my dreams lately have been baldur’s gate centered, but its not anything about the characters or the story nooooooooooo ITS THE COMBAT. I am eternally trapped in the turn based combat. Whats worst is its not even POV its the hover above it all waiting and the combat never ends. Im there THE WHOLE NIGHT.
