#big rant time

actually the fact that quackity has been ghosting dream for a while now is funny as hell.

again, publicly dream hasn't lifted the qsmp ONCE. he keeps talking as if the qsmp was inspired by squidcraft, when in reality quackity has made very clear that this passion project was supposed to unite both parts of his life. NOT ONLY THAT but quackity has been talking on his priv about a "big project" coming up since january, so no, i don't think this was inspired by squidcraft.

and even if it somehow was inspired during squidcraft, there's no way quackity would have been able to implement everything he has in less than a month. clearly there are serveral people working behind the scenes, such as the minecraft admins, the twitter admins, the eggs admins, the mod admins, and those are just a few. and quackity HAS talked about the server being multilingual before too!

if you look at the official twitter pages for the qsmp, the english and spanish updates account were made in february, before squidcraft. he had teaser art done in late february, he had cinematics done early march, he had promotional art for each of the players in march 18th. what im saying is that from the size of this project, quackity most likely couldn't do it in less than a month.

i dont expect dream to know any of dates of any of this, clearly he doesn't keep up with quackity. i'm just pointing out how this couldn't just be inspired by squidcraft alone, and how this is a very personal project to quackity.

the beauty of the qsmp is that it's uniting two big parts of quackity's life. for a bilingual latino man who managed to create two big communities, an english and a spanish one, it must mean a lot to him to be able to mix them up and see their cultures being passed on to one another.

clearly quackity has worked very hard on the qsmp, and it's sad to see it get involved in a one sided drama with a groomer. i hope we can move on soon from it.

anyways. i still have a lot in my mind but i don't feel like blabbering about it. remember to support latino creators 🤙

i need to rant about something

im from another fandom on twitter right so before qsmp started i had a pretty negative image about mctwt bc of mf dream, dteam and their supporters. i only watched the brazilian streamers (felps), bbh and skeppy sometimes but im pretty addicted to qsmp since the beginning. i love all the ccs there, especially the brazilians, roier, quackity and jaiden

it just sucks that dreamwastaken is still the “face” of minecraft cause i can barely talk about it without ppl thinking im a weirdo that supports that man and his friends like CAN THEY JUST GO AWAY ALREADY

also its so funny to me that quackity ghosted him and he admitted it on twt like a loser cause if i ever got ghosted i would NEVER say it to my million followers lmao

prob the thing about the qsmp x usmp was part of the reason quackity ghosted him but i also think that he has other reasons for it. i can only assume but knowing that someone u were close with is a groomer, racist and a manipulator isnt nice AT ALL and if that goes against what u believe and think it’s acceptable it’s obviously a pretty fucking good reason to ghost the shit out of them

im just waiting for them all to go back home so i can finally confirm that they definitely aren’t friends anymore

he just annoys me so much, i wish he wasn’t a disgusting human being to begin with and i also wish he hadn’t made the entire mctwt reputation be THIS bad

tbh the more i think about it, the more i just dont want to post my art on tumblr anymore. i think i might be done for real. at least on this website :/

this is so frustrating

genuinly the only reason i havent deleted is because reblogs forcibly archive ur stuff and its not even about whether i have been scraped (im sure i have) but its more so about the feeling of the expoloitation built into the fucking TOS, i have zero faith in the "opt out" option, it's probably just a cosmetic.

So to "protect" my art for the simple purpose of not getting fucking exploited by the very same website, I "must" glaze, nightshade if possible. maybe add a readable watermark with good font, so I can be found more easily and whatever.

But for what? slightly more visiblity? ppl only like, barely reblog, let alone leave comments, whether tags or replies.

If I wanted more visibility I wouldn't be drawing 200+ artworks of my niche rarepair. or mod the rarepair's server, run events.

This is all a hobby; I don't earn money, I barely made even last convention I attended and that's only when not counting my travel and food costs.

I get what people mean when they want you to keep fighting and post art. But it's so fucking frustrating for seemingly no one to realise how exhausting this is to deal with!? for virtually no payback too.

I can't make myself too known around such blogs, because my best friend is on tumblr & very opinionated about anything lgbtq+. It's because of that & ppl like that, that I am scared to use the labels & new terms wrong. Cuz I'm always wrong, but it feels more that they are being purposely obtuse. Poly's been the only place genuinely accepting. So thank you for all you share about stuff like that. It always makes me feel grounded & at peace again.

Oh man that really sucks. Honestly I hate LGBT+ know-it-alls. I’ve kind of just slapped “queer” on myself. Honestly I still see myself as cis because I’m too terrified of the trans community and all the hate that’s there by truscum to really act as anything otherwise. I’ve watched my boyfriend go through it and it’s yikes. I joined that LGBT+ amino and didn’t last a day because even basic LGBT+ identities were being called out as fake. Honestly once you step off tumblr and step away from people who use it, no one gives a shit. On my other blog where I identify as a cis female (situational genderfluid here) I use the terms “bisexual” and “lesbian” interchangeably for myself even if neither are “correct”. Because at the end of the day it’s not like someone being “but you’re dating a guy, you can’t be a lesbian” is going to make me go omg you know what you’re right let me never call myself that again like no I really don’t give a shit about what other people think fuck them. I ain’t here for that purist elitist bullshit. By some people’s definitions I’m not even polyamorous I don’t think but I don’t see how you can be “sure” of anything when A) sexuality and gender are a social construct and B) you have limited life experience and certain things are only a hypothetical to you.

So you’re valid because basically you can be whatever you want to be and even if people call you a fake it’s not going to change who you are as a person so why should it change how you label yourself?
