This year has been a bit of a change up for me at the Big500. With a few additional projects pushing back my work time for the show I got pressed for time as far as original work. I was going to do a series of the Heart tree image in seasons. And there were a bunch of sketches that I put on the back burner. My concession in creation was going back to some images I made for an 88 Strong show, which was a series of pirate animals. I loved that they were black and white, but I’d been curious to see about adding color at some point. So, that’s what I did.
